These Solid Stainless Steel bowls are a great unique gift, that are hand forged one at a time; no two exactly the same. This traditional shaving lathering bowl's sloping sides and flat bottom allows the bowl to sits firmly in the hand, while being able to feel the forged craftsmanship in the hand. The blacksmith forged bowl holds approximately 9 ounces. and absolutely will not break when dropped
For a warm and inviting lather, soak the bowl in hot water while preparing your face and prior to working up a shaving lather. Keeping the bowl temperature control is as easy as setting your bowl in the sink with the hot water until the desired temperature. The straight razor and brush pictured is not included, but is pictured for a reference. Being non-magnetic these bowls are safe for your electronic devices. The stainless steel handmade feel is developed though the forging process.
These particular bowls I make are hand forged from 304 stainless steel in a process where they are, hand stamped (if customization is wanted), then reaching a temperature near 1750 degrees Fahrenheit, shaped by hand, brushed, smoothed and waxed. Hand stamped finishes are added in the beginning (if personalization is chosen).
Bowl Specifications: 5.25" wide x 1.25" deep" 3/16" thick and weighs approximately 1.5 Lb. Each bowl maybe a little different in size due to being hand forged.
Materials: 304 Solid Stainless Steel (will not rust).

Customizing our bowl is always a pleasure. Please proof read your message, once the bowl is made, the wording is permanent and can not be changed. Each letter is individually hand struck with the option of message placement either on the inside or outside of the bowl.
If you selected the Personalization option please write your message in the provided "Order Notes" box shown after adding the item to your cart. Such personalizations include: a saying, name or names, date etc...
Care Instructions: The bowls will develop a patina over time and will not rust. If not being use for food. Clean with warm water, towel dry, let sit till completely dry and apply a little polishing wax to the bowl if you would like, however the wax is not necessary. Completely dishwasher safe and non-magnetic.
