These particular bowls I make are hand forged from  mild steel in a process where they are, hand stamped (if customization is wanted), then reaching a temperature near 1750 degrees Fahrenheit, shaped by hand, brushed, smoothed and waxed. Hand stamped finishes are added in the beginning (if personalization is chosen). 

Bowl Specifications: 7.25" x 6" oval and approximately 1.5" deep at the deepest point, 3/16" thick and weighs approximately 2.0 lbs. 

Materials: Mild Steel Diamond Plate.

Customizing our bowl is always a pleasure. Please proof read your message, once the bowl is made, the wording is permanent and can not be changed. Each letter is individually hand struck with the option of message placement either on the inside or outside of the bowl.

Care Instructions:  Clean and dust with a dry towel. Apply wax to the bowl once every month, to keep a outer protectant seal on the bowl from water and humidity. I use Renaissance wax, but most polishing wax's will do. If the bowl gets wet please towel dry the bowl soon as possible, let the bowl sit til completely dry and apply wax.

Applying wax will slow down the patina (oxidation) process and protect your bowl. If a beautiful bronze patina is what you want to achieve then use the bowl as normal until it reaches the desired patina appearance, then apply a little wax to the bowl. I use Renaissance wax, but most polishing wax's will do. If you desire a bright non-patina bronze just polish the bowl once a month or as needed. Use a polish compatible with bronze as you would silver jewelry and apply wax to seal the finish. With most wax applications, a little wax goes a long ways.
